The Michael L. Printz Award is an award for a book that exemplifies literary excellence in young adult literature. It is named for a Topeka, Kansas school librarian who was a long-time active member of the Young Adult Library Services Association. Dr Hamilton and Dr Wilson had the pleasure of taking Michael Printz's classes while he was librarian at Topeka West High School.

In his honor we are giving away 3 notable award books monthly,included in these are Printz award books, the Newberry Medal and Caldecott.

Patients are welcome to enter at each visit.
